Phaedra, the birthday girl

We celebrated Phaedra's 4th birthday together with the Garden gang. She looked so pretty in the flowers she and her mommy and siblings made. After the birthday story she planted a Guava tree in the garden. We danced around the tree and Ska drummed for us. After dinner Phaedra's mommy had delicious, healthy cupcakes as dessert with some candles for the birthday girl. It was soooooo beautiful....

Grand opening month

The last two garden days have been so much fun!!! We have a ‘grand opening month’ for new people and just because we love to celebrate that our little community is getting together again weekly. Our story is about how are group started.

We are trying out the square foot gardening, and it so much fun. When the plots are all planted and leveled we will take some more pictures. Maybe we can send some to the website http://www.squarefootgardening.com/.

The kids planted and took care of the garden, ran around with the bug catchers, enjoyed the rain, picked fruits and ate lots of veggies afterwords.

Beach day

Goodbye Maremi, Quinn, Fill and Eloise

Quinn planted this butterfly tree 2 years ago … or should I say pulled the little stick out and put it back in. We never thought it would make, but look the magic touch of a child let it grow very big. He leaves the island now together with his mommy, daddy and little sister. Good luck to you all.
Thanks for the garden day gift, we will plant the orchid together with the kids.
