Julianne told a wonderful story about kites and had a very cute kite project afterwords. When the kites dried and the bellies were filled they ran around in the garden with them. Beautiful! Thanks Julianne!

Composting
Composting is fun! Not only you get rid of your leftovers, you get something in return. After storytelling the kids got into the compost and had fun looking at the critters.

Koko, the hen and Ian the bamboo craftsman

Bas and Ska help carrying the leftovers to the compost.
Eriadna loves chickens and named our hen 'koko' because of her brown feathers. I loved chickens myself as a little girl, and have lots of pictures carrying chickens around in our backyard.
She even rocked the chicken to sleep ... so beautiful!
